October 12-14, 2015 President and CEO Doctor Ziqiong Zheng attended 5th Asia Shale Gas Summit & 2nd Asia-Pacific Unconventional Resources Tech & Equip EXPO held in Shanghai.
Doctor Ziqiong Zheng gave lecture named “Water Challenge in Shale Oil/Gas Development”, it referred several contents such as global and China’s energy demand continues to increase, energy and water, frac water management, Reuse of flowback water and flowback water contents and treatment.
In the lecture, Doctor Ziqiong Zheng, based on positive influence made by development of shale gas to national water resource, pointed out the importance of flowback water treatment to the honorable guests, offered proposals for flowback water treatment and reuse. He focused on introduction of Haimo flowback water treatment and Haimo’s efforts in the related field of flowback water treatment.
At the end of the lecture, Doctor Ziqiong Zheng appealed to government departments to publish a variety of standards as soon as possible in order to promote the development of oil and gas field water environmental protection better.
The summit was organized by Shanghai United Institute for Unconventional Resources and Shanghai Energy Economy Committee of SEA, focused on the theme of “New Normality, New Market, New Opportunity”, explored shale gas policy, industry development and detailed industry chain. Nearly 300 executives, researchers, scholars and officials from all over the world attended the summit together.
